The Hydrogen Research Institute focuses on the entire industry chain of fuel cell vehicles, including "production, storage, transportation, refueling, and use," providing services such as industry research, feasibility analysis, overall planning, and policy consulting. It offers project implementation and demonstration operations, as well as value-added services such as multi-energy complementarity and vehicle-road-cloud coordination solutions for zero-carbon scenarios (such as parks/roads/ports). In addition, the Hydrogen Research Institute also assists local governments of the project sites in building collaborative innovation platforms, creating industrial ecosystems, and providing a full range of services for parks and enterprises, including technology transfer guidance funds, enterprise recruitment and cultivation, talent training and certification, and standard development.

Case study: Comprehensive Hydrogen Energy Application Demonstration Project. Based on the local wind and solar renewable energy for hydrogen production and industrial by-product hydrogen resources, a hydrogen energy multi-scenario application solution centered on the application of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles was designed. The solution includes applications of hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks and buses in scenarios such as construction waste removal, sanitation, and public transportation; hydrogen fuel cell combined heat and power in industrial, commercial, and residential settings; high-quality fuel hydrogen supply chain; hydrogen pipelines and refueling stations infrastructure; cloud monitoring platform; fuel cell vehicle operation platform; demonstration operation models and economic analysis; industry funds; leading enterprise attraction and implementation; standard development; and supporting policy recommendations, among other components.
