Standards, as a fundamental institutional framework, are a crucial technical force driving and supporting high-quality development. The Hydrogen Research Institute is the designated entity for Shandong Province's Fuel Hydrogen Technology Service Standard Innovation Platform. On one hand, it actively promotes the research, development, and application of standards for the production, storage, transportation, refueling, and utilization of hydrogen energy. On the other hand, to advance the industry's social responsibility and achieve dual carbon goals, the institute actively conducts research on carbon reduction pathways for enterprises and industries, as well as related green finance studies. Building on this, it has also developed research on industry ESG disclosure and evaluation standards, product carbon footprint assessments, and methodologies for emission reduction.

 

 

The mission of the Fuel Hydrogen Technology Service Standard Innovation Platform includes:

- Establishment of a hydrogen fuel standard system

- Development of hydrogen energy standard technology roadmaps and pre-research on standards

- Cultivating technical standard innovation bases and initiating urgently needed technical standard formulation

- Promoting pilot applications of enterprise standards in the industry and exploring diverse pilot standard models

- Advancing demonstrations of high-quality fuel hydrogen supply chains.
